About Me

Hi, I'm Jackie, the woman behind the camera, the computer, and occasionally the chaos.

Born and raised in the Kansas City area, I now call a small town just south of the metro home, where life is wonderfully busy with my husband, our four amazing kids, and our two dogs who firmly believe they run the household.

My photography journey began in 2012 as a creative hobby, but it didn't take long for me to realize it was becoming something much bigger. By 2016, I officially turned my passion into a business. More than just taking beautiful photos, I knew I wanted photography to have purpose-to tell stories, preserve memories, and make a difference in people's lives.

During those early years, I documented my own journey through infertility, sharing my experiences through blogging to help raise awareness and connect with others facing similar struggles. Photography became both my creative outlet and my therapy during some of life's most challenging seasons. Fast forward a few years, one IVF rainbow baby and one surprise miracle baby later, and life has a funny way of bringing clarity to your purpose.

For the past eight years, I've worked in Law Enforcement Communications. I'm married to a Deputy Sheriff, and many of the people I consider family wear badges, uniforms, and turnout gear. I've witnessed firsthand the sacrifices first responders, military members, and their families make every day. The long shifts, missed holidays, unpredictable schedules, and the weight they carry make life's moments even more precious.

That's why my mission has evolved.

Today, my passion is documenting the families behind the uniforms. The hugs before a shift, the milestones, the celebrations, and the everyday moments that deserve to be remembered. Because tomorrow is never promised, and the memories we preserve today become priceless tomorrow.
