About Me

Hi there! I'm the face behind the camera! My name is Jackie and I was born and raised in Kansas City. I currently live about 30 mins south of the KC Metro Area with my husband, our collective four children and our two dogs. I began pursuing photography as a hobby in 2012 and turned it more into a business venture in 2016. I knew I always wanted to use it as a force for good but wasn't quite sure how. When I first started, I also began blogging about my fertility challenges in order to bring awareness to those facing infertility and used photography as an outlet for the stressful treatments I was going through.

One IVF rainbow baby and one surprise miracle baby later, I've recently wanted to "revamp" my mission. I'm going on year eight of working in Law Enforcement Communications, married to a Deputy Sheriff and with having an entire "family" of brothers and sisters in blue, gold and red, I thought there was nothing better than to rebrand with my fellow first responders in mind. The stress of the job and the dangers they face each day is even more reason to document their special moments with their families and it makes it just that much more important. As my mission becomes more and more defined, I want to pay it forward to any first responder or member of the military by offering special discounts, including free photo sessions for families of the fallen and holding fundraisers for local responder charities.
